Bug Description

I uninstalled the package kubuntu-desktop in Ubuntu 10.10. The process finished successfully. I checked if I can not longer log into KDE. It turned out that I can still log into KDE.

kubuntu-desktop is a meta-package that depends on the various parts of KDE, so that KDE will be installed when you install kubuntu-desktop. But the parts of KDE does not depend on kubuntu-desktop, so removing kubuntu-desktop will not remove KDE.

Changed in ubuntu:
status: New → Invalid
affects: ubuntu → kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
