Gwibber doesnt launch in the desktop I launch it from

I lay out different applications in different desktops, I've tried to launch Gwibber into desktop #4 but it keeps launching it into desktop #1 every single time. there is no way to change this and I'd assume the fact I launch it in one desktop it should appear there and not the one it choses.

I am sure that this issue was reported before, let me find it. by the way, have you checked if this behavior is still occurring in latest release of gwibber included in Maverick?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I've tried to reproduce it in Maverick 10.10 i386 2.6.35-24.42 with gwibber 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 and I could launch it in desktops others than 1. What specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

Please upgrade to the most recent version and let us know if you are still having this issue.

Basically I have 4 desktops on the laptop, on any other desktop other than the MAIN one I launch Gwibber, but it launched to the Main desktop so in order to get it to the desktop one I want I drag it to the one needed. But I would have thought it should launch to the desktop I launch an application to like all others.

czajkowski, I cannot reproduce it here with 2.32.2-0ubuntu2, I am currently using a desktop with a dual screen (extended) I tried to open gwibber from my #4 virtual desktop and it does there. by the way, have you tried to unset your gconf settings for gwibber and then check if is still occurring?
