Freeze up in Word Processor

Hello,

When writing for more than 5 minutes in the Word Processor package it totally freezes the machine and I have to reboot. The document is recoverable after booting. I am using 10.10.

ahambidge, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please attach the file that causes this problem?

Does this issue occur in LibreOffice Writer?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-writer

I am using open office and not Libre Office. The freeze occurs in Documents and with Mozilla Mail.
