Bug Description
When using the gnome-desktop I have a network-manger icon in the indicator panel. When starting up Unity, by entering compiz --replace, the network-manager icon disappears. I still am connected wirelessly, but if I change to a different access point I have no way of changing to it, short of exiting Unity.

Thanks for your bug report and help to make ubuntu better.
I'm almost sure it's a dup, but can't find it. Adding it to this week release as network manager doesn't have yet indicator support and we need it for A1.
