Enblend, HDR, "excessive overlap detected"

I tried to make a "hdr" image from a set of images, taken with exposure bracketing. Camera was held in hand (there are small movements between the images).

In Hugin, on Stitcher tab, Output was set to "HDR Merging, Merged and blended panorama". Output format was EXR.
The following error happened

Unselect all output for "normal" panorama (first column on stitcher tab).

I just got a similar error - not doing hdr, but a large pano shot via gigapan. A few images didn't have matching points so I manually aligned them.

I got the same thing after adding 5 more points to a pair that already had 5. Went back and removed 2 of the latest points and all went well. The fusion fix didn't help.
