Bug Description

Command line utilities like f.e. align_image_stack.exe produce modal warning dialogs that must be closed by Ok button before the program proceeds.

To recreate pass TIFF files created by photoshop or Canon DPP to align_image_stack or another command line utility. You get a dialog labeled "TIFFReadDirectory" which warns that some invalid XMLPacket was found and which needs to be confirmed by pressing Ok. This should be a console warning if at all.

This might be out of our control: this error message may be in the libtiff library.

A screen shot of the error message would allow me to search the sources for the texts of the error message, to see if it comes from Hugin or the libtiff library.

Could someone with a windows machine (and the ability to create marginal tiff files) create a screenshot?

This was already mentioned on the mailing list http://groups.google.com/group/hugin-ptx/browse_thread/thread/950a0c0e8a2edf9b/a6298df7bffc8041
The builder needs to build libtiff correctly (setting right config setting).

This doesn't happen with the command line utilities of recent hugin distributions, at least if they are compiled using the directions on http://wiki.panotools.org/Hugin_SDK_%28MSVC_2008%29_Patches#wxWidgets

I think it can be closed.
