Bug Description

Binary package hint: kscreensaver

Screensaver starts (e.g. after 10 min.), but shows a large white X, instead of the choosen screensaver. In other words; it shows the default xscreensaver. This problem started a few weeks ago.

Also the screensaver is not locked.

All is working fine when I manually lock the screen. The right screensaver is popping up and the screen is locked right away.

Cheers,

Jeroen

I can confirm this, happens for me too.

I have the screensaver disabled though, this has been happening since about 2 days ago after I previewed some of the screensavers.

It pops up after 5 minutes of no use, as there is the value set on the grayed out box by default.

I noticed this was happen as well when I was using the "kswarm.kss" screen saver. I think it might be a bug in that particular screen saver. Which one are you using?
