Where is Hugin 2010.0.0 ?

The URL http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ states \\\"Hugin 2010.0.0 released! 2010-03-22\\\". When I click on the [Get Hugin Now â–¼] link at http://hugin.sourceforge.net/download/ I am provided with the file \\\"Hugin_2009-4-0_win32_setup.exe\\\".

The location https://sourceforge.net/projects/hugin/files/ seems to only have Mac, Linux, bsd, and solaris versions for 2010.0.0.

I downloaded the previous version Hugin_2009-4-0_win32_setup.exe using the 2010.0.0. link but the application does not seem to work for me. I have seen a friend use a much older version successfully but my 2009-4-0 version can not find any control points in two similar photos and it then produces various errors, see attached .png screen captures.

Sorry, there is no Windows installer for 2010.0.0 because nobody has contributed one yet.

The error you are seeing is because you need to have autopano-sift-c.exe installed, put it in the Hugin/bin folder.

Where do I get autopano-sift-c.exe? How do I install it?

I went to https://sourceforge.net/projects/hugin/files/ and downloaded and DOUBLE extracted (decompressed) autopano-sift-C-2.5.1.tar.gz using 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/)

I copied the folder autopano-sift-C-2.5.1 and put it in C:\Program Files\Hugin\bin folder. This did not work.

I looked for autopano-sift-c.exe. It does not exist in the autopano-sift-C-2.5.1 folder.

I don't know how to make the file autopano-sift-c.exe from the contents of the autopano-sift-C-2.5.0 folder, assuming that it is possible to do so.

I checked out the file autopano-sift-C-2.5.1\README.1ST. No help, it seemed to be filled with techno talk.

Sorry I can't really help more. I don't know if or when there will be a 2010.0.0 Windows installer, I also don't know where to point you to a copy of autopano-sift-c.exe or why you didn't have one already.

I have tried many versions of Hugin and autopano-sift-C. I have discovered that installing hugin-0.7.0_win32-setup.exe provides autopano-sift-c.exe. This will no doubt be an earlier version of autopano-sift-c.exe but at least Hugin then automatically creates control points using the Assistant.
