Bug Description

I've loaded files from a network attached storage (NAS; file server) through the "add Pictures" command in hugin.
I moved to a new location (installation is on a laptop) and tried to create a new project after starting hugin.
When I try to "add Pictures" in the Assistant tab (also tried with Images-> add individual images) hugin freezes and I had to kill the process.

This is (from my point of view) because hugin tries to reconnect to the last folder images were loaded from.

It is possible to add pictures with drag&drop to hugin. (Also 1 picture with explorer->open with...)

Guessed solution: Test first if the folder is still available, if not set it to the user dir.

This Bug will maybe also affect OSX and Windows versions of Hugin, as long as they use the same codebase.

does not affect Ubuntu with local files. Have no access to Windows to test the network drive scenario described above. For feature requests (drag and drop) please open a separate ticket.

Maybe you have to wait longer, until a timeout for network connection occurs, then the default folder should be used.

Does not affect OSX on local files and network files. A missing share just takes long, maybe due to polling time-out. Hugin doesn't freeze though.

what operating system exactly are you using? and what version of Hugin? can you reproduce this with a recent version?
