Automounted optical drive contents do not show until reload

Insert DVD or CD, choose "Open in New Window", drive is mounted at /media/cdrom<n>, Konqueror opens but contents of disc do not display until Reload button is clicked. Problem does not occur on the first disc insertion after bootup. Eject and reinsert disc, and problem occurs.

Tested on Kubuntu Edgy RC1 on two machines: AMD64 and i386. Tried several discs also: data and video DVDs and a data CD. Same symptoms on all machine/disc combinations.

Note, on Dapper problem does not happen, and Konqueror URL is system:/media/hdc instead of /media/cdrom<n> used in Edgy.

I can confirm this on Kubuntu Edgy final. I didn't test it directly after reboot though.

This is imho not a unimportant issue, because it looks "strange" if you select "Open in new window" and only an empty window pops up. A not-so-experienced user won't probably understand at all what is going on.

I can remember this worked fine on Dapper.

Regardless of the time and state of my machine, either direct after boot up or not, I have the same behaviour. The device gets mounted correctly, eventhought this is only noticable after reloading Konqi.

In my case i can see the correct contents of the folder the very first time after login. After inserting the CD for the 2nd, 3rd, ... time, the following happens - till now with 100% success rate :) :

1. window pops up, select "Open in new window"
2. CD gets mounted, konq starts
3. in the konq for a very short time the PREVIOUS contents (ie contents of the previous CD) is shown. This disappears very fast though and empty directory is shown.
4. Hit "Refresh" and the CD contents is shown.
5. (to reproduce 3) close the konq window and after that eject the CD.

The correct contents doesn't show up even after waiting for some time in step 4, I need to hit "Refresh".

To reproduce 3, the konq window has to be closed before ejecting the CD. If I eject the CD before closing the konq window, the old contents won't show up in step 3.
