Bug Description

When using the eraser tool, it erases all colors, leaving a transparent background. There should be a way to erase all colors and leave the background with the secondary color (usually white)

This is possible if you select "Paintbrush" and right-mouse button.

It would be nice if this feature is added to Eraser too. Some people like transparent when erasing and some like background color (actually I think it should be white color and not background color).

I see two options:
1. left mouse = transparent, right-mouse = white color
2. vice versa

In simple image editor like Pinta I think most of the people expect to have left-mouse white color, so second option.

Hi grofaty

I know it is possible via paintbrush. In fact, that's the way I did it, but it's somewhat unpractical, due to custom reasons. I mean, everyone's mind expect the eraser to leave a white background. So it'd be good to have a left/right click choice, or an extra color eraser tool. Hope someone may add either feature, as I consider pinta the best painting tool i've met, not as messy as gimp, nor as simple as MS paint

I question the usefulness of this, but it's easy to implement and won't hurt anything.

Fixed in https://github.com/jpobst/Pinta/commit/319bb015c1cca5e421940fd8843d0aad8d0d174d.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I have tested in Pinta 0.6 on Windows XP sp3. It looks like right-mouse click using Eraser tool uses back-ground color, which is in most cases white. I am marking this problem as fix released.
