I installed Java with sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre icedtea6-plugin. I tried to run solataire at http://www.solitairenetwork.com/Solitaire/eight-off-solitaire-game.html and it hangs.

I tried several sets of instructions to install Java that did not work inside Firefox before I found the http://www.solitairenetwork.com/Solitaire/eight-off-solitaire-game.html command. This particular solitaire has given Safari problems in the past but it now works in Safari and Firefox on the Mac. It also works on Firefox under Windows 7.

I expected solitaire to play but it hung while getting started.
