Hi!
Everytime I trie to install or remove a package, this error happens. I don't know why.

It looks like the installer was unable to create the ntp account as there was a lock on /etc/passwd; please can you check for the presence of /etc/passwd.lock and /etc/shadow.lock to see if this is blocking the process.

If these files are present, please try removing and re-installing ntp. Please update this bug report if this resolves the issue.

The files were present, so I have removed and re-installed ntp and it works now. Thank you for your help, the problem has been fixed easily I should have to try this before posting.
