btw. when uploading bug report user gets info below the inbox how to report a bug (screenshot).
But according to CLI the -p option is deprecated.
$ ubuntu-bug -p xorg
Warning: The options -p/-P are deprecated, please do not use them. See /usr/bin/ubuntu-bug --help

Maybe also of interest.
Before a crash occurs, some windows which are open on different workspaces, e.g. gedit and firefox
the focused one and there only a part of the window gets some kind of overlay pattern (similar to matrix screenshot), so one can see only part of the window.
e.g. in gedit half of the window is overlayed by the pattern, firefox menu is overlayed, but webpage is visible. Sometimes the pattern is black-grey, sometimes black-green.

When moving to another workspace via ctrl+alt+arrow the pattern disappears.
When I try to make a screenshot of the overlayed window via alt+print the pattern disappears.
