Bug Description

Hello,
if I run Extensions -> Visualise path -> Measure path, Measurement type: Area, Inkscape allocate some memory (it is logical actually :-) but after the action the memory is not deallocated. If I do several path measurement, I run out of RAM very quickly.. after killing Inkscape, everything is ok again..
I don't know if it is a real bug or if there is some tool how to prevent this behavior.
I use Ubuntu 10.10 and Inkscape 0.48.0-1ubuntu.
Regards
Jan

does the same problem occur if you choose to measure length instead of area?

This issue is with the how extensions are handled by the Inkscape in script.cpp file.
