Bug Description

[Feature request]

I often hear words and type them to understand their meanings.

Yesterday I was on the phone with a customer who kept talking about "そうと" and trying to find which of the 3 definitions showed by Tagaini was the right one. As a result, I did not understand what he had been talking about.

A colleague told me it was actually "ソート", like sorting.
It would really have helped if Tagaini had showed this definition too.

Thanks a lot!
Nicolas

Tagaini is actually already hiragana/katakana agnostic. You can enter びでお and it will return you ビデオ in the results.

The reason why your particular search did not work is that the two strings are different. The う has the same function as ー, but its katakana equivalent is ウ. It should be possible to make them exchangeable during search, but I am not sure if this is desirable.

Thinking again about it, that could be a useful feature if it can be switched off (also, be more tolerant for instance if people enter おお or お instead of おう). Keeping it in mind.
