Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

update-manager 0.42.2ubuntu22

I executed this command : gksu "update-manager -c -d" (as indicated in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EdgyReleaseNotes).
update-manager starts working fine ... then it stopped and said that it cannot install "ubuntu-desktop".

My /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log are here :
