Problems with characters encoding with html messages and attachements

Binary package hint: evolution
I use default utf-8 encoding for my messages. However, whenever i get html only message, or html attachment encoded with is-8859-2, I get all strings with polish diacritic signs replaced by [?] string.
it's especially annoying, since the encoding declaration is usually present within html document,
