There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks. Please report this error at http://
I also included a attachment to show details of the problem.

Hi I would like to note that I reinstalled ubuntu on my computer and managed to install the two updates (I have two OS installed on my computer windows 7 & ubuntu 10.10) but as soon as I restarted my computer after choosing ubuntu from the grub boot manager I got the following error : 2.6.35- 22-generic- pae/modules. dep fatel error no such file in directory
modprobe could not load /lib/modules/
When I check the directory ( /lib/modules/ 2.6.35- 22-generic- pae/modules. dep ) I can confirm that the file ( module.dep ) exists in that directory. Thus I believe that the update (linux- image-2. 6.35-22- generic_ 2.6.35- 22.35_i386. deb) is corrupt & I think that It should be looked over again & repaired.
