Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error caused by a corrupted archive. Please execute the following commands, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal ( Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal ) :

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/ libgoffice-0.8-8.{postinst,prerm,postrm}
sudo apt-get remove --purge libgoffice-0.8-8
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then reinstall the package

status: New → Incomplete

meanwhile I had to formate the installation due to other reasons.
Noe the bug is resolved for me.
