error message on resume from sleep

When resuming from sleep and sometimes on initial startup error occurs:

(process:330) GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (0).

This is related to Bug #569879, I assume, but I am the admin user logging in each time. When error occurs on startup, pressing the power button results in normal shut-down.

When error occurs in resume from sleep, pressing the "Fn" key a few times removes the error screen and allows normal login. Error is reproducible on each resume from sleep.

Error occurred occasionally in 10.04, very often 10.10.
