Binary package hint: empathy

only one of my msn contacts is showing as being online and they are all in a group titled "ungrouped"

my girlfriends computer is sitting next to mine, she is logged in to her msn account via empathy and she is not showing as being online on my computer, nor am i on hers.

I think the duplicate status is wrong. Bug #677943 says this

"even if accounts results online, i can't see my contacts on the contact list window. they can see me the most of the times but i only see gtalk contacts, or msn contacs, or facebook contacts.. and i can't refresh in any way."

This person is saying that they CAN see gtalk, msn and facebook contacts. I cannot see MSN contacts, my gtalk contacts are fine and I don't use facebook messenger via empathy. While there are similarities, this person is referring to other accounts rather than MSN, while I am specifically citing MSN as an issue.
