Bug Description

I am a beginner with Ubuntu. I've been trying to create a folder of JPEGs on my MacBookPro as a "WindowsShare" item for use as backgrounds on this Gateway laptop running Ubuntu. This was successful. But after this exercise, I noticed as I clicked on various Places, as part of my learning curbe.... that pesky Eye of the Gnome........ kept popping up, instead of, let's say Desktop, or Documents, etc., etc.

I don't have the means to figure this thing out, so I can't answer "which package" I found this bug which earlier in the evening did not exist.

Thank you very much

Vladimir Vooss

The other bug (#667071) has the same thing reported, only there the archive manager opens all the time, and there is another one with VLC opening (669280), and I do experience the same with Shotwell opening for all the places.
