brasero reports write error

Binary package hint: brasero

Writing an iso to disc fails with a write error.
K3b also failed to write the same iso beforehand (different disc).
Before this I successfully wrote a DVD

the same for me..write error..i didn't resolve to burn a cd and this is really frustrating..I tried Brasero (error), k3b (error) and gnome-baker (it seemed to work but it burned a corrupted cd)..
Maverick updated today..latest kernel and latest updates..please help..thanks..

I have a Sony Optiarc DVD-writer..with other computer with Ubuntu it works fine..
I've updated to Ubuntu 11.10 and I still have the problem..I can't burn the Ubuntu 11.10 iso, I had to burn it with the other laptop.. ;)
