Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnucash

When I launch Gnucash under Unity, the splash screen comes up, as does the tip of the day, and the info window about automatic transactions. After confirming, the main window never appears. When I launch gnucash from a terminal, there is no error output, not even with --debug.

I file this under Gnucash and not Unity, because I have seen cases of the main window not appearing under standard Gnome, too. This sometimes happens when I alt+tab away from Gnucash during launch, before the main window has appeared. So I think there might be a connection between these 2 issues.
