Bug Description
freepops should make the /etc/rc?.d links for it to work with upstart in edgy
[10:06] <ajmitch> fraco: more importantly, does the link exist in /etc/rc2.d ?
[10:06] <fraco> nope
[10:07] <ajmitch> so it's a package problem, not an upstart problem
[10:07] <fraco> ah
[10:07] <fraco> it used to work with classic sysv init
[10:07] <fdoving> fraco: 'sudo update-rc.d freepops defaults' will make the proper links.

Yes, I also think it is a packaging bug. In Feisty I used the packages provided in the Freepops site and the demon started perfectly.
