Bug Description

An awesome feature would be an option somewhere in the menu that allows a bigger library view. Ideally, the library view should fill the whole skin unless you deactivate the feature via shortcut or menu option.

From a user's perspective, scrolling in the library decreases especially on low resolution displays. For instance, you can enlarge the library view to select the next track while another track is on air.

Great idea. Also, the option of a 'detatchable' library may be useful - so that the library could be left maximized in another workspace, or flicked between minimized and maximized, thus giving more space for the Mixxx control and so on. Of course, this should be an option for the user to turn on or off.

Oh that would be so cool. The controls on one monitor and the library/playlist/explorer on the other!

+1!

re: detachable library:

I just realized that you can drag and drop files into the decks from Explorer. I'll assume that dragging from Mac and Linux file managers and dropping into Mixxx decks will work as well.

This effectively means that you *can* have a separate window from your tracks, and on another monitor too. Admittedly, it's a bit of a hack, but not an alltogether bad one in my opinion.

Ultimately, even as things are right now any of us could make a skin full of widgets or what have you without being concerned about library allowance, as long as there was a second monitor with a file manager open.

Cool!

Obviously the Tracks wouldn't be manipulable via keyboard shortcuts or MIDI controllers though - hadn't thought of that. This is what I get for posting ideas while sleep deprived #_#
