Bug Description

Binary package hint: glom

*** Glom

With Glom you can design table definitions and the relationships between
them, plus arrange the fields on the screen. You can edit and search the
data in those tables, and specify field values in terms of other fields.
It's as easy as it should be.

More information and screenshots are at

*** Changes

1.16.1: (stable)

Build: Fix the python module's filename.

The latest version on gnome ftp site is 1.9.11....

I've took some time to look into this today. In order upgrade to 1.16.2, we will have to upgrade a number of dependencies as well. So far it looks like we need to upgrade goocanvasmm and libgdamm. I've been able to do goocanvasmm locally with out issue. Upgrading libgdamm requires upgrading libgda as well. Debian experimental has libgda4-4.2.2. Unfortunately, it fails to build against recent versions of gobject-introspection. See GNOME bug 629779: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=629779

So it should just be built with --disable-introspection, surely?

Indeed, gir1.0-gda-4.0 has no reverse depends anyways.

libgda4 is in main, where I don't have upload rights. I've requested
sponsorship in Bug #690688
