Bug Description

Since upgrade to 10.10 my USB mouse does not work just after boot or reboot of the system. It starts working after a few minutes. Problem was also reported by someone else in the forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1579693).

I'm affected by this bug.
After turning on my computer, in can take up to 5 minutes before the mouse will work. During that time, the mouse is absolutely dead. The red light is off, as if there was no usb power at all. Other usb devices will work, though.

It helps to just completely unplug the computer for a minute or so. After that, it will work normally for the next twentysomething boot processes...
I'm guessing it has something to do with suspend to RAM, but I cannot really reproduce this on purpose. It just happens ervery now and then.
will look into bios update soonish, never done it before.

Thanks for the help
