Bug Description

While in dosprompt (any version to date) pressing backspace at the prompt causes the entire prompt to disappear. Pressing enter causes it to reappear a line down, but this can still be quite annoying. This is running it from bash on Ubuntu 9.04-10.10

This happens to me all of the time when I background a process.
When it outputs, I have no prompt.
So this may be the case.
