Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
Steps to reproduce:
0) Launch Totem by any means, and load a playlist. Start content playing.
1) From a Nautilus window, click on a playlist file (a .M3U file). Drag-and-drop onto the Totem Movie Player instance.
Result: Playlist loads and starts playing, but player controls grey out and no longer respond. Controls affected are:
Play/pause button
Progress bar (progress cursor does not move)
Status indicator at bottom (indicates "Stopped" even as music plays)
Expect: Controls work as usual.
Note that the "previous" control is greyed out, but would be anyway (for a playlist playing the first song, there is no previous). Note that the "next" control is not greyed out, but works to go to the next song, and after that the greyed out controls ungrey and function correctly. Note that double-clicking on another track from the playlist will likewise work and ungrey the controls.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http:// www.ubuntu. com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.
