Bug Description

Since I installed 10.10 on my computer, ibus doesn't react to ctrl-space on the input field of tagaini, thought it does for kiten, anki or any other app tested so far.

This is strange, as Tagaini uses the same Qt libraries as Kiten, so it should be working. Did you compile it yourself, or did you use the 10.10 version I recently uploaded on my PPA?

I used the ppa version :
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnurou/ppa/ubuntu maverick main

I can try to compile myself if you want to.

Best regards,

Not sure if that would change anything, but you might want to give it a try, just in case.

I have a Maverick installed on a virtual machine and will try to setup ibus and have a look at this.

I am using Ubuntu 2010.10 with default iBus (1.3.7) and no problem, CTRL+SPACE works as expected in the Tagaini input field.

The bug appears for me in gnome and openbox.I don't use KDE.

Ibus works in Tagaini Jisho when I just boot my computer. But if I quit ibus and I restart it, ibus doesn't work anymore with Tagaini Jisho

A little update.
On ubuntu 10.10, deleting the config file restores japanese input, but quite often (once in a few weeks, with everyday use), the problem happens again.

Seems like an Ubuntu or Qt problem to me. It would be interesting to see if this happens with more recent versions. But with 12.04 soon to be released, I do not see the point for me to focus on this very local problem.
