Bug Description
Oh that would be nice. I'm doing a project - the others have ubuntu 10.10, but I'm stuck with 10.04 due to Poulsbo mess... Please help me make my python-interpreter compatible with theirs new and fancy ones!
Right now I only have 2.6.5 :(

Hi Jon, thanks for your interest in Ubuntu, and for taking the time to file this request!
Under the process outlined here:
https:/ /help.ubuntu. com/community/ UbuntuBackports #How to request new packages
This backport would fail the test of not affecting other packages, and of only providing bug fixes.
You are welcome to try and build 2.6.6 on your machine by simply grabbing the source package for maverick and building it on lucid, but this won't be approved for backports.
Marking as Invalid.
