Bug Description

Binary package hint: alsa-tools

HDSPMixer crashes with error: "Segmentation fault" if input and output channel numbers are different (e.g. if only expansion card AI4S 192 AIO is installed)
- installed HDSP9632:
   =>everything is working fine
- added expansion board AI4S 192 AIO to get 4 additional analogue inputs:
   => HDSPMixer crashes immediately after start with error "Segmentation fault"

first: used ubuntu studio 9.04.
updated to 10.04 and 10.10 without change of behaviour

Wow, eight years gone and bug still exists. However, those audiostreams from the card are alive and recordable.
