Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I have the following problem with seeing Yahoo Finance Charts http://finance.yahoo.com/charts/#chart1:symbol

When I select ”Technical indicators” only a part of the drop down window will be shown. The rest is hidden underneath the chart.

I use:
Firefox version 2.0
 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; da-DK; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060601 BonEcho/2.0 (Ubuntu-edgy)

Gnome Desktop 2.16.1
Updated Beta release of Ubuntu 6.10, Edgy Eft
Flashplayer 7,0,68,0

Anyone with a solution to that?

Kind Regards
Mads

Is this still an issue for you? We are trying to trying sort out the older Mozilla issues and would like to know if this still happens.

Can you please attach a screenshot of your issue as Freddy asked if this is still an issue.

I am having (and have had) the same issue. Did this ever get resolved or at least labelled as a bug to be fixed in release XYZ?

Thanks

a testcase (step by step instruction) to reproduce this problem is still needed.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=GOOG

2. Click on the charts displayed in the page. (Or click on the "Try our new charts" link). It should take us to the chart page.

3. On the flash-based charting page, click on the button "Technical Indicators" above the charts. It would show only part of the technical indicators available.

Note:
I think this bug may be related more to adobe flash plugin issues in Linux than to firefox itself. I know that the page displayed just fine in Firefox in Windows and Mac. With the same adobe flash plugin version 9.
