Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

When upgrading from Dapper to Edgy RC1 update-manager could not install "firestarter".

A little later I got the message "Could not install the upgrades" and "installArchives() failed". Not sure if this is related to the same error.

Exactly the same happened to me. Does this mean that the upgrade to 6.10 did not finish? I'm noticing mysterious segfaults and graphics acceleration for my Radeon X300 no longer works.

Except for firestarter 6.10 is working fine for me.

With 6.10, when I use Synaptic to install Firestarter, I get the following error message: "E:Firestarter: subprocess-installation script returned error exit status 200." While Synaptic shows Firestarter to be installed, any attempt to configure it using System/Administration results in an error message. In addition, access to my LAN is blocked.

Well, I don't know about the upgrade, but Firestarter is running fine for me on Feisty.

Then I think we can mark this as fixed, if you have some trouble with this again, feel free to reopen.
