aRts sound server fails to start

Bug Description

Binary package hint: arts

"Sound server fatal error:
cpu overload, aborting"

...In an "Error - artsmessage" dialogue. Occurs when KDE starts up -- same problem occurs if I try to disable/enable aRts again. Running Kubuntu Edgy live (desktop) RC. Possibly useful info:

Yes, I think it is the same.

Though, the sound is fully working for me (after only minimizing the messagebox).
