Bug Description
Reporting here as this is where the bug report link took me.
Immediate segmentation fault when trying to invoke:
:~$ Xephyr :5
Segmentation fault
:~$
if I try to specify screen geometry, I get an fpe instead.
:~$ Xephyr -screen 1024x768 :5
Floating point exception
:~$
In both cases the window does display for a split second before the crash. I can make it stay put a moment if I invoke in gdb, but since the executable was stripped, I can't provide anything more.
Edit: The process creates the lock file under /tmp before it dies
