Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

In my custom python scripts using libvirt python module and using the virsh I can't set max memory size, yet in virt-manager it 'appears' to work..

virsh # setmaxmem AVIRTUALBOX 786000
error: Unable to change MaxMemorySize
error: this function is not supported by the connection driver: virDomainSetMaxMemory

I guess to reproduce just attempt to setmaxmem of a virtual machine as above.

Thank you for using Ubuntu and filing a bug. Unfortunately, this was an upstream change in libvirt 0.8.0. Please see http://libvirt.org/news.html for details. If you would like to have this changed in a future version of libvirt, I encourage you to file a bug with upstream libvirt at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/ (see http://libvirt.org/bugs.html for details).
