Bug Description

I have acer 7730g, installed ubuntu 10.10 amd64, no sound at all.
Notice, the sound is working through the HDMI on my TV, when I select HDMI output in sound settings.
I've tried to reinstall alsa, modified /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
add to the end: options snd-hda-intel model=acer-aspire-7730g
also I tried model=auto, model=acer.
When model=auto sound is working when speaker level is maximum, but certainly quality is very bad.

So, any ideas to solve this problem ?

p.s. before I used 9.04 and 10.04, sound worked.
