Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution
Ubuntu 10.10
Synaptic 0.63.1
Evolution
1. File -> New -> Address Book
2. Type: Google
3. ***@gmail.com SSL:Checked
The sync looks to work but many of the fields are blank: Company, File As, Notes are the ones I notice right away.
I am not able to edit any of these fields nor any other information on the "Personal Infomation" Tab; I can edit Birthday and Anniversary.
I am only 48 hours new to Ubuntu but searched for information regarding the problem for 30 minutes and could only find one other reference to a problem with the Notes field. I hope I reported this in a correct manner.

I think we need libgdata 0.7 to support these fields.
The support was committed here: git.gnome. org/browse/ libgdata/ commit/ ?id=aa23ec1cdca aa5511a5ba713be bdbe0f101bf180

But it didn’t go into 0.6.4, so we should upgrade?

In any case, this is a dupe of but #438016
