Try inputting the following command into a terminal (Application ►Accessories ►Terminal)

sudo apt-get install --reinstall flashplugin-installer

affects:

ubuntu → flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)

Have doen it already in Synaptic. Have followed your instruction and used sudo apt-get install --reinstall flashplugin-installer
however the result is the same error code.
