Can't send msgs to Ping.fm

Binary package hint: gwibber

I can't send msgs to Ping.fm. i have entered my API key. but still it is not working. Please fix this.

Right, I have recently tried this service and able to reproduce this issue. Output from gwibber-service said:

Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUG *** Sending Message ***
Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUG <pingfm:send> Performing operation
Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUG <pingfm:send> Finished operation
Gwibber Dispatcher: INFO Loading complete: 2 - []

and the message was never send (I configured a twitter account in Ping.fm) all this using gwibber 2.32.0.1-0ubuntu1

This issue is still occurring under latest release of gwibber included in Natty, marked as triaged for now.

Plugins can now be created out of tree, so this is a good candidate for creating a plugin. You can look at lp:gwibber-service-sina as an example, unfortunately we don't have plugin developer documentation yet. However, if you are interested in developing a plugin (shouldn't be too difficult), join us in #gwibber on FreeNode and we can try to guide you through it
