Bug Description

In Kubuntu 10.10, Nepomuk is enabled in System Settings. However, Strigi strangely is not; bold letters in "System Settings -> Desktop Search" tell me "Strigi service not running". I tick its box in. I click Apply. It sits there, ticked, no error message, not a popup, not anything in konsole besides Using " Virtuoso Version: "6.1.2.3127-pthreads" ". I go back to Overview. I go back to Desktop Search: the box is not ticked, the service is still not running.

Ok, is it just me, really? No one else's got this?

Same for me. It used to work perfectly before updating to 10.10.

I deleted the folder.kde/share/apps/nepomuk, now it's working again.

Thanks Matthias! This worked for me too!! =D (right now Strigi is indexing files. Let's see if the problem doesn't come back after a few days...)
