Bug Description

Binary package hint: jobs-admin

I was trying to enable smart monitoring daemon in recovery mode and got the crash. Also when I start jobs-admin there is a message on the console that says
no module named pkit

nothing else.

Please let me know any other info I can supply if needed.

Was able to reproduce most of it, and I know where the problem lies. The issue is that jobservice doesn't expect to be running in recovery mode and "forgets" about it after launching, and when a service reports it is in recovery mode it doesn't know what to do.

It also crashes if you try and stop apache, though not sure how to attach the bug report it produces with the apaches error to this bug report.

I'm going to work on this issue soon, but the changes that I'll be making might be a little too invasive for a stable update in Maverick, so this update may have to wait until 11.04. I'll see how it works when it's fixed, though. :)
