amd64 usplash boot broken

Bug Description

Since usplash started using 640x400 splash on amd64 Kubuntu no longer boots without turning off usplash.

This shouldn't cause the boot to fail; please get confirmation on different hardware as it makes a difference in whether this is critical for the release candidate

It does eventually boot for me, but my monitor displays an "out of range" error while usplash is up (rather than just a blank screen); if I didn't know better I would certainly think it had crashed. I think this is near enough to confirmation.

This should fix it:

kubuntu-default-settings (1:6.10-60) edgy; urgency=low

  * Add 640x400 theme to usplash, needed to allow AMD64 to boot
