Binary package hint: gnomescan
ASUS netbook EEE 1001P running up to date lucid (flegita 0.6.2-0ubuntu1+
HP Photosmart C4400 series (printer and scanner in one)
starting up flegita on the command line the program crashes while enumerating the devices. This only happens if the HP is plugged in and turned on.

Ubuntu precise 64bit, flegita 0.6.2-1.1ubuntu1

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Also have HP printer and flegita crashes several seconds after starting up.
