Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
I am behind a http firewall with authentication.
I see the account data and usage in Ubuntu one preferences but I'm unable to connect. Disconnected state is displayed.
I managed to register and get account data only after this Hack:
add to /etc/apt/apt.conf:
Acquire:
Before I did this I was unable to register and the message:
'NoneType' object has no attribute 'makefile'
was displayed.
Ubuntu one is not using proxy configurations or there is a problem with proxy authentication.

I have the same problem, but the hack with /etc/apt/apt.conf doesn't work for me. I already have gtp. http and https proxies listed in /etc/apt/apt.conf, but I'm getting
'NoneType' object has no attribute 'makefile'
all the time. This is a critical bug for me because I have to share files between home and work computers. The later is behind a proxy, so Ubuntu One is useless...
