Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Under Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Visible columns, I selected "BPM".

I then sort the playlist by BPM (clicking on the BPM column header).

The sorting is wrong: the values are only roughly in the right order (see screenshot)

I'm using the Mixmeister BPM Analyzer in Wine to calculate BPM and save it in the ID3v2 tags of my MP3 files.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.

Problem persists in natty (rhythmbox version 0.13.3-0ubuntu6).

It seems that only the BPM number before the decimal point is considered for sorting.
