Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image
The Asus EeePC T91MT doesn't work out of the box. There are drivers in the kernel however for some reasons they are blacklisted and require a kernel.
I'm not sure why they are blacklisted, they seem to work fine for everyone. The drivers don't seem to work with multi-touch or pressure sensitivity but they are better than nothing.
There is a guide here showing the lines that need to be commented out:

This is a problem on 10.10 and 10.04 (also previous versions didn't have drivers but they required evtouch rather than usb-hid changes).
It would of course be nice to get full multitouch, there are demonstrations of it working here:

I believe the ENAC people are the ones working on the drivers:

Hi H3g3m0n,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http:// cdimage. ubuntu. com/releases/ .
If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications- >Accessories- >Terminal) . It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.
apport-collect -p linux 667284
Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/KernelMainl ineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs- upstream- testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs- upstream- testing' text. Please let us know your results.
Thanks in advance.
